Who
Jean Paul Bastiaans Belot, President and CEO of the CENTYBEL IT Group of Companies, was born in the early-fifties, studied at the Brussels and Zaragoza Universities: started his Spanish venture in the mid-seventies. Dominates 5 languages and a couple of dialects.
Expert in socio-political-economical country analysis, interface structures, foreign trade & logistics.
In the very beginning of his professional career, Jean Paul analyzed the overall situation in Spain (General Franco was still in power and Spain suffered by that time a commercial and diplomatic isolation) and after understanding the global circumstances, empathized in which way big business could be realized. After only one running year, CENTYBEL became the largest Spanish wholesale-exporter, with a second year`s export- turnover of US$ 50 million (updated value).
As a consequence of his Spanish success, Jean Paul started other innovative businesses, such as the first Spanish Mail-Order Company; a luxurious Vehicle Importer; a joint venture with the world`s largest Elevator Company, a wholesale importer for Asian general commerce, a Building Company, an EPC coordinator for Renewable Energy and several others.
He designed and invented unprecedented products, some of which sold over one million units. Tennis racquets with an incorporated velocity meter, Logo-Embossed suitcases, 4-functions electronic Euro-converters for the Blinds, Skimo-sole home slippers and even a high tech Emergency Alarm system with incorporated TFT-screen video-conference, for elevators.
Actually, besides International Trading, his activities are focused on the Renewable Energy (especially photovoltaic) as an interface coordinator (Project/EPC/Investor), but also as an International Consulter bringing innovative solutions to business-problems and conceiving Creative Disclosures
Our CEO has above all, an extremely imaginative mind.
